Finally got a chance to read through the whole thing so far. Fantastic work. The love-hate thing they have going reminds me of Maggie and Amber. I’m guessing Nyla eventually turns this around and takes Reina with her back to her time so they both get what they want

And nice assessment. But, what do you think would happen to Castle Combe, the town, after Reina leaves? She'd never forsake her people. Too many surprises I have planned. Let's hope I just don't get lazy.

Well, it was mentioned that the empire cares more about her assets(the literal kind, not the “other” kind) and her wealth than her as a person. Maybe she’ll just hand everything over to them in exchange for taking care of her people. Either that or Nyla comes back with her time’s weapons and threatens everyone to give Reina what she wants

I'm bumping this up in the hope that Talebearer will see it and be inspired to finish this great story. I fear this may become one of the great unfinished stories on the board and that would be a tragedy, especially since TB seems to know where the story is going and how it will end.

Fingers crossed this will be completed!

Really loved the part about the irritation about always being compared to each other. Such a cool insight into the pain of people who are locked in rivalries forever. I might steal that from you, TaleBearer. The story was amusing too.

Bumping this story up again. I consider this one of the great unfinished stories on the board and I really hope that Talebearer gets around to finishing it sometime soon(ish)!
