We are in the process of moving servers to handle the time out and disconnects and will fix the censor option after that as soon as Adam can review the code and find where the logic is not working. More then likely we will then have to re-import all the old posts.

I appreciate you guys giving us some time to work around the issues.

If they have to re-import, there may be a default text style setting that RETAINS THE FORMATTING as they import

DSRach, if I do decide to mave (meaning I found a better board/server) I'll brong you along. I always have room for hotties. *smile*

Ted, I hope so. We have to remember this is still the BETA version of the new format, these ALWAYS have some bugs to work out during and after setup. I will openly admit that even if they fix every bug I still prefer the old set up, despite it's flaws it was easy tp use.

Can anyone tell me what the advantages are of this new version of hostboard?

As far as the formating and readability of stories goes, you can copy the story and paste it to word. Then use word auto formatting. it doesn't solve all issues but it eliminates some of the run-on problem

Yeesh...got back from a vacation and found all this, along with a "notice" that I haven't posted anything in a while (since I was away) and a PM bugging me to donate to Hostboard. Not likely if they're giving you such trouble!

I haven't played with the new software enough to have an opinion about it, but I'm definitely interested in knowing if you're setting up shop somewhere else. Hope one way or another you can find a way to do this you'll be happy with.

I should of done this sooner here, but i did say this in a new reply to the korean giantess story.

Since Hostboard has (mostly) fixed the bugs/glitches/etc... and I have about 2/3 of it figured out (still prefer the other version) I've decided to stay until the end of 2009 at the very least and see how it works out. Unless something big happens, I'll just adjust to this new version and do my best with it. *sigh* Thanks for hanging in there with me everyone, and for the encouragement and other good stuff. Glad to hear I have loyal reader/authors that'll stick with me even when nose deep in the big sticky.
