There is a text put forward recently in France as a secret chapter in the Necronomicon. This text is called “the Book of the Black Banshee”, and has been offered for sale under that name. It has two chief sections: the book of "Hek?tē and her mysteries" and the "Grimorium Lillith". In reality these are Latin titles given to two originally separately bound [untitled] books rebound together as regards their shared theme with an added Latin introduction. The first book is in Arabic and is a translation from an ancient western Akkadian text and the second it's some kind of "black book" for a witches coven which has as its supreme ritual a combat on the astral plane referred to as "in that place" which involves the selection of a new coven leader. This second book is non-Christian and shows deep familiarity with the details of 1st Century Jewish beliefs and practices.

NOTE: (A psychologist acquaintance of mine was fascinated to hear of this second text as it jibed with an obscure paraphilia in which he had some experience in his practice.* One man afflicted with this disorder of the passions, and who was very loosely in touch with a modern coven in New York in the late 1980s began filming a 3 part catfight fetish tale based on hearing about this "Grimorium Lillith". Apparently, according to the first text, a product of Islamic scholarship in the 900s, there was a race at the convergence of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in what is now Iraq that proceeded even the ancient Sumerians, one in which the creation myth featured a great combat between 'the witch of darkness' and the 'witch of fire'.

In fact, the later Sumerians, as well as their Babylonian Inheritors, worshipped a' Catfight at the Beginning of Time' in which Inanna, the Goddess of Venus, goes to Hell to fight her sister Ereshkigal for the role of Queen of the Cosmos, (go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inanna, the* 'Inanna's descent to the Underworld' section). The fantasy recorded in the cuneiform is somewhat spoiled by being couched in “temple” language. Our Jewish text suffers from no such inhibition, and even waxes purple with enthusiasm for the details of the gory, bestial and brute mortal combat of wicked witches who used* its spells). But the Archetype is there! Notably, some 2000 years after its earliest forms in Sumer, this tale was inverted by Christians who had Jesus “win” in the fight with the devil in the Harrowing of Hell. But Inanna was killed and hung on a wooden stake just like Jesus. And just like Jesus Inanna remained in Hell 3 days before rising from the dead and ascending to Heaven to rule at the side of AN, the God of the sky. The prehistoric racial memory behind our "Grimorium Lillith" endures even today in the old Kabbalistic legends which tell of an elder and his senior Lillith going out each year to do combat to the death. (The Hebrew Goddess 3rd Edition as Enlarged Edition by Raphael Patai)

I have made it a side avenue in my research to delve deeply into these ancient mythologies that goes back to the period before the great era of floods 15,000 years ago to the time when 13% more surface area existed on the earth due to the lower level of the oceans and the exposure of the continental shelf on every continent. It was during this era that the first real civilizations developed on these coasts now long submerged. The legend of the floods come from the re-inundation of the continental shelves and their civilizations and the great floods released by the melting of the ice packs in the northern latitudes. Faint traces of even an alien and elder race from the stars mentions space going Pirates peoples that waged eons long wars of female pirate armadas of multidimensional fleets. It was not with the little lamb Jesus that life first came into this universe. I think the image of Kali is one that we should look to for the most ancient secrets in our blood and deep within our brains.
