Looking for a Story (1)

I recall a story, which I may have read on this board, whose plot went as follows: Sometime in the future the government/society has legalized unarmed duels to the death provided the opponents are fairly matched. Two young women are in the sealed dueling chamber with their families looking on from the outside. One girl dies while her opponent is severely injured. The story ends with their respective mothers about to duel.
