R18 Closure, Alternatives, And Converting Their 'dcv' files.

Not sure how many fans are out there for JAV (Japanese Adult Video), but if you are, R18.com: The Largest Japanese Porn Site (R18) has announced closing their site. While customers have bought things (myself included) and can still view their purchases from the site, once the site is gone, it's gone. I've been trying to locate in ways to convert their video files, "dcv" when purchasing any of their videos and is playable in their RPlayer but that seems to be defunct as a stand alone app. Tried to convert through VLC Media Player and didn't have much luck nor with any other converter platforms that alleged that they cover 100s, 1000s of variety of media formats. Hoping someone has any ideas in a converter or capturing way to get these videos from their site. If you have any ideas, please share here.

Also, if you're reading this and a fan, can you recommend similar platforms to R18's database and directory in part or comparison. This link above has sizable amount of JAV lesbian content, though region specific from what I can tell to get downloadable (digital) content. Physical media like DVDs are fairly priced from their listings and includes sales/mark downs. And there's bargains similar to how Amazon Marketplace works.
