Having a bad dog year

Hi all,

This thread contains dieing pets so be warned.

The girlfriends sister(Patty) and her husband(Bob) and kids had this old black lab as a pet for years.Nice old gentle dog.Well... toward the end of one of our thawing,January slushy days,the dog ran out into the street in front of a UPS truck.Got Brown?,Well the dog got it.Happened right in front of the families 13 Y.O. son.No hard feelings toward the ups guy as he couldnt stop in time because of the ice on the road.

The funny thing is,well funny in a dark way,is that Bob works for Fed EX.

Skip ahead a few weeks and the family got a new dog from the pound,complete with dog killing parvo already!So yesterday that dog dehydrated itself to death.

No word yet if they are shopping for any new K9s.

that's sad, trampis....

i'm also surprised that the pound would adopt
out a dog with parvo... hmmm... that is to say,
i know the pound here in conway had a cat with
a HUGE tumor in its stomach area... but would
only adopt out the cat if they felt you were
capable of taking it for necessary treatments.

guess your buddies are just dog-cursed...
which is sad.
