for those of you with the magnetic ribbons on your car... please ignore this post

because i fucking HATE those fucking ribbons!!!

i'm SO sick of seeing them... and i think
they are utterly gay and ridiculously
half-assed.

in addition to that, i see them all the time
now... even in gas stations... so you just
pay $5 (or whatever the gay price is) and
you can show your stupid support for the
troops, or breast cancer, or wtfever gay
cause.

the reason i hate them... isn't only because
they look stupid.... (because they DO look
stupid)... but also because i don't see them
being reputable (much less compensating)
in the fact that you have done nothing but
put a stupid magnetic ribbon on your gay
car.

ok... perhaps i'm being a bit over the top,
but i really..... really can't stand them.

i saw a vehicle today that had 6.... SIX
fucking DIFFERENT magnetic ribbons on the
ass-end of their vehicle... and they were
for various 'causes' etc... and let me tell
you ...

the first thing in my mind wasn't how fucking
patriotic or caring or legitimate this person
is....

its really about how GAY they look driving
around with a gay magnetic ribbon on their
car.

i've been meaning to make this post for
some time now... but it was only after i
had seen 4 out of 5 vehicles wearing a stupid
ribbon that i decided i had had enough.

me and my boss were discussing these very things...we do not understand them nor like them...they look so tacky....and I want to yank them off cars in parking lots and throw them in the trash... there ridiculous to me....

i dunno if any other Aussies who post here remember.. but here in Australia (well i can only vouch for Melbourne really) about a year ago out of the blue heaps of cars had stickers of our national flag and the words "Young and Free" written underneith.. im talking hundreds and hundreds of cars, they were everywhere, no-one i knew had one or knew where they came from or what exactly they were supposed to symbolize.. seeing as the whole 'patriotic' thing has never been a big thing over here. but as quickly as they appeared, they were gone. they only lasted few months.

what's really strange is i ran across a website that was making the exact same claim. it went into the history of the ribbons, and why the ribbons started in the first place. it was really funny. but i don't remember where it was, and i don't want to find it...so you will all have to take my word for it

the ribbons and those fucking "livestrong" yellow bracelets. Two things I could never see again for the rest of my life and be completely happy. Trendy shit. *rolls eyes*
