aren't white at all... and it irks me that
they are called 'white'. i think 'buttercream'
or 'yellow' is more appropriate....
i guess they are considered 'white' because,
in comparison to the other colors... they
are 'most like white'.
hmmm... perhaps 'most like white' would be
most appropriate for the labels.
i know this is trivial... but it does irritate
me somewhat.

i want to disagree, but i believe you are referring to the color that the filament in the bulb burns....
that is a "yellow" color i do believe, but the casing of the bulb is in fact clear...so if you want to get right down to it, it should be clear lights....they do make lights which have a white casing, but they are called frosted

while i agree that the casings are clear...
the box says 'white'... so 'white' it should be...
regardless of whatever the filament.
i actually considered covering this aspect in my
first post because i did realize this. however,
i also realized that there are lights that give
off pure white light... so still technically,
the box is lying... lol
