i received an article of mail from the local
    funeral home expressing their sincerest
wishes that i had a good, established financial
    plan for my demise.

in case that i hadn't yet found such a plan,
the said funeral home was offering several
protection plans of their own.... if i were
to send in the attached, postage paid
    postcard.

now i find this rather interesting...

namely, i feel somewhat relieved that local
funeral homes are willing to have their own
financial plans made available to the public.

however.... its still friggin weird to hear
of such a thing. i guess i live in a vacuum
as i never really considered funeral homes
as a place i'd visit when thinking about
how my final financial 'burden' will be
    taken care of.

the entire pamphlet is aloof about direct
information (as such things are)... but it
also makes a note at the end about 'continued
care and assistance for surviving family
    members'....

i suppose i'm just that naive....
i never thought that funeral homes offered
    insurance.

That cracks me up, I got something like that in the mail too, and I actually get emails in my junk folder from time to time along those same lines.

it's amazing to me that I'm still young, but I have to worry about not burdening others with my funeral expenses already. See, we're all born to plan for death.

    Re: in the mail today....

Hi guys. I'm interested in learning about the importance of showing appreciation for our hardworking employees and hope to gain some fresh insights and ideas. You see, in my role as a manager, I have struggled to find unique and meaningful ways to show gratitude to our team. I believe that simply saying “thank you” is not always enough.

Let me give you an example from my own experience: Some time ago, one of my team members went above and beyond to meet a tight deadline, and I wanted to show my appreciation in a special way. However, I was speechless and ended up receiving a standard thank you note. This did not convey the depth of my gratitude and appreciation.

So I'm wondering how you all feel about this? What are your favorite techniques for creating thank you notes that will truly touch the hearts of your employees? Any personal stories or insights you can share?

    Re: in the mail today....

Expressing gratitude in a sincere and meaningful way is a challenge we all face. I have found that the key is to be specific and personal in thank you notes. When I want to thank an employee, I try to highlight his individual contribution. I also use ready-made templates at www.handwrytten.com/resources/thank-you-notes-for-employees/ , which offers lots of tips and examples for creating thank you notes. . I used it to find creative wording ideas and personalized messages.I often add a small token of gratitude to cards, such as a gift card or a favorite snack, to make the note even more special. It's all about making the employee feel valued and valued on a personal level.
