assuming that it is followed through, what is
the source and end of motivation?

It's cheese. You're motivated to get the cheese. But then it gives you a heart attack... you're not so motivated after a heart attack.

my vote is for the will, as the will is the
strongest of any possible answer. without the
will you cannot achieve anything, regardless if
opportunity is available.
this thread comes in light of the fact that i have
been experiencing a rash of people that promise
many things and ultimately, fail them while
blaming it on X Y and Z.
what is even more insulting, they all claim to
have the will (or motivation -- which is caused
by will) to offer some effort towards these
promises.
it seems to me if these people are making promises
with the catch-all of will supporting them, then
there is no real reason that these promises
cannot come into existence...
unless there is no real will to begin with.
the ultimate lie detector.....
i'm sick of it. i'm sick of fake people

I would have to agree with the reverand, it's deffinately the cheese, or ice cream, or some other dairy product. So, one could say the cause is the cows. Or the air they breathe. Or the grass/hay/other cows they eat. Or the Earth which they walk upon. Or the bacteria which caused the trees/animals to be broken down and changed into nutirents which allowed the grass to grow. Or the sun which gave off the energy to cause the grass to grow and various other chemical reactions. Or the big bang which caused this whole mess in the first place. Yeah, I think I'll blame the big bang. Or cheese.

Its who cares, when people don't care and think nothing is going to happen it happens when people care and get all excited with this and that thats when nothing happens.
If you cared about careing and someone did'nt care about you careing about careing and then they did'nt care about someone else careing about you careing and the other person careing and so forth ..... then who cares
Someone at some point, but usually when you least expect it and thats who cares syndrome

You don't have the will until the opportunity presents itself. And you won't notice the opportunity unless you've got the motovation to realize it's right there in the first place. So the beginning and end of motovation is motovation itself. The rest are just reactionary moments caused by the motovation or lack thereof.
