Top 10 reasons I'm having more fun on Bass then I ever did on Guitar

1. Bass guitars rarely fall out of tune!!!
2. No need to find a pick. I can play with my fingers.
3. 80's glam metal guitar solo riffs sound creative and new when played on the bass.
4. Since I can play through the PA, all I need to bring to practice is the bass, 2 wires, and a tuner (just in case). Instead of heavy guitar cabs, 100 watt heads, pedals, etc.
5. It's been 2 months, still haven't broken a bass string, I would have broken at least 2 to 3 guitar strings by now.
6. Because of reasons one and five, I can play the bass as hard as I want to.
7. It?s funny when I do ridiculous solos on bass, not boring like when I do them on guitar.
8. No one has to hear ?my one good solo I play a variant of in ever song? ever again.
9. There?s no real pressure to drive the song and my tone is not as strictly criticized.
10. Playing music is actually fun again.

I have a feeling alison finally out-grew message boards. Ya'll know, it just a matter of time before sites like myspace makes places like this NOT needed. It's sad, I don't use myspace. I tried for years to get my friends to use hostboard, to the point i gave up. now they all use myspace. I wonder if alison just no longer goes online much (like me) or if she just spents her time elsewhere, with new friends. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]
