No suprise here. SciFi Channel DID fuck-it-up!
SciFi has always been bad about stuffing their programming with commercials, but never as bad as this! I recorded the premiere, deleting the commercials, and was flabbergasted the first Doctor Who episode, 'Rose', only ran about 35-minutes! Blown-up to an hour thanks to station-identification.
BUT, on the bright side, there was an ad for the first season of Doctor Who on DVD, to be released in only three months! So Fuck SciFi, I'm gonna wait and rent the entire first season (sans commercials) without wearing-out the pause button on my DVD-recorder!

oh really?
it is kinda amazing how much 'time' you blow
watching television shows only to spend the bulk
of the time actually watching advertisements...
eessh.
however i didn't watch the series premier of dr. whozit.
i also kinda figured that with the release of the
new season... the old shit would resurface in
some form or another... good to hear

Sorry, might be a miscommunication.
When I said "first season", meant the whole first season of this NEW Dr. Who. Not the old material from the mid-50's. That would be golden, but back then, BBC just recorded over their video-recordings of the program before. Guess VHS was a lil more priceless, tapes recorded over again a bit more often.
Pisser, eh?

yeah, that does suck.
well thanks to the end of project runway... i've
been trying to watch that top chef show in place
of PR. its actually pretty cool... at least i
like to watch the drama occuring (which i guess
is the whole point).
other than that... 'i shouldn't be alive' still
rocks the charts in my book
