calling all graphic designers.....

graphic designer/artist needed for possible
one-time project with tons of personal
freedom and creativity (as long as it meets
my standards).

ok ok... seriously...

i'm seeking a graphic designer/artist... yes.

i've checked around locally (and on the
internet, slightly) for a graphic designer
and, well, they all can suck ass for all i
care.

i'm particularly looking for a student-level
or freelance designer willing to take on
my project that may (or may not) give said
artist a project/reference for their
professional portfolio.

now before anyone gets the wild idea that
they may be able to help me personally...
let me just go ahead and say that i am more
than willing to consider the idea...

however, i'm wanting something (simple) that
i can 'own'... ie copyright etc as well as
an image that can be delivered to me in
various media formats.

i'm also somewhat skeptical about using a
friend for the project because, well...
i'm concerned that my particulars may bust
heads with some people and i don't want
it to come between us. it boils down to
the basis that i have a certain idea that
i would like to see take fruition from a
designers perspective... without it bothering
the designer if i have (or want) changes
to be made.

in short, if you think you are creative (and
capable) enough to handle this simple
project AND meet the aforementioned needs,
i'm more than willing to give it a shot.

if any of you are not able to do that...
BUT you may know someone that has the
proper credentials... i'm willing to do
what i have to do.

i went and spoke with some local 'professionals'
today about my project and out of the two
companies that i visited... each of them
seemed a bit leery about talking to me...
WITHOUT even hearing my project. i found
this a bit asinine and rude so i figured
"well go fuck yourselves... i'll find someone
else"....

this project is VERY important to me personally
and i NEED it to happen... that means that
it will happen regardless if i can get
help here or not.

i just figured i would give hostboard a
shot with this advertisement and see what
comes out of it.

again, if you know anyone that may help
me with this design project, please don't
hesitate to let me know. also, if they have
a website and/or samples of their work...
i'd be more than happy to check it out.

feel free to question me more about the
issue if you need to... but know that i
will not be giving out too much detail
in futility.

Throw us a bone! You can't say "Help Me, But I won't tell you what about." and actually hope to get serious replies.

Royalty-free, I get that. No artist signature on the work either, am expecting.

currently i'm not looking for a website design
as of yet. i'm mainly looking for logo/symbol
design... that sort of thing.

i'm willing to purchase the design and/or pay
for the time spent to create it (negotiable)
but i simply have to have the copyright.

Logo/symbol. That helps quite a bit. Static images are easier.
