why is it sometimes you can feel everyone elses emotion, but can't get ANYONE to feel yours?

As miserable as life may be I hold it pretty precious...
If I lose the light of the sun, I will write by candlelight, moonlight, no light. If I lose paper and ink, I wil write in blood on forgotten walls. I will write always, I will capture nights all over the world and bring them to you.

Because, as is evident through speech, however, if one is forced to listen, and not exposed to being able to let their speech flow, then indirectly, they feel the others emotion, while not being able to get their's "felt".
I guess that's the best way I can describe it
