i do not recall any threads/posts being removed
from any board during the switch (due to the
switch itself). the deletion of post count only
affected the number shown on each individual
user's profile... as well as the VIEW of each
message board... but not the actual post totals
of the board.

i see and had seen what you were saying... but
its still incorrect. the subtraction of posts
from the post count affected each user...
regardless of dead/inactive boards

just before the HB1/HB2 transaction, there was a
post written on the main admin board telling of
the future loss of posts in the user post count.

i dunno what you two are bickering about..but as i recall it, when HB switched over to HB2, everyones post counts went backwards and several days worth of acrop posts were gone.
