"Like many of you I'm sure, my wife and I have a set of friends that we hang out with on a regular basis. We all get together regularly to eat, drink, and be merry.

One of my friends is married to this georgous chick who is usually the center of the party. I mean, she's the one that makes mouths drop when she walks in the room. Yet she's the nicest and friendliest person you ever met, always speaking to everyone. She volunteers her spare time at an animal shelter.

Late Saturday afternoon they are painting one of the rooms in their house and they are running low on paint so she runs back out to the paint store. So she proceeds to drive to their church, park in the back and put a pistol under her chin and blow her brains out.

I don't get it. Why didn't she tell anyone? There were a ton of people who would have helped.

My friend is devistated. I have no idea what to say to him. Suicide is a bitch.

people skew their minds after such an event has
occurred. they look to past events in order to
justify why something like this had happened...
maybe they find one or two things... but on a
whole, only generally see the good stuff (case
above).

perhaps she suffered from nihilism

hmm after just having a lady friend of mine kill her self a fews month ago and not knowing why as she never left a note we are only left to guess at what it could be. In the end all we can say it was obviously something she just didnt think she could deal with and wasnt getting any better. All I can is I dont think that anyone could tell her that life wasnt that bad for her as it really wasnt in the whole scheme of things. So even if she got better I dont think it would have lasted long because it didnt take much to make her feel bad and I dont think she wanted to be on meds.

I should have clarified...I copied that message from somewhere else. I figured with the quotation marks it would make sense....and the fact that I dont have a wife.
