1-Men have been the more popular and reknown tailors throughout history.
1.5-Thimbles aren't currently widely used by either gender
2-The thimble, although needing someting inserted into it (thus its femininity) inserts a phallic structure into material, and is phallically shaped itself. At best, it is bigenderal
3-The iron, another phallically shaped item which spews forth(or in this case produces from its surface) a hot white misty substance , is hardly feminine.
4-Of all the items, the only one most closely related to, through its history and current state, to women is the little itty-bitty doggie. No man with an healty amount of testosterone would be caught dead owning such a dog.
