so i go to buy beer...

...on Saturday night for me and a certain HB administrator to enjoy.
I go down to the local stop 'n rob to pick up some brews...its teetering on midnight so I must act fast.

I walk in and ask the man behind the counter if they are still selling alcohol. Affirmative. So I head to the back to try to search out my beloved Bud Light. After FINALLY finding the 12 packs I head back up the counter with my ID ready and a smile on my face...knowing that I have beaten the clock.

THEN I'M INFORMED THAT THEY ARENT SELLING IT ANYMORE SINCE IT JUST TURNED MIDNIGHT! [img]mad.gif[/img]

At that point I became worried because I was told to be sure to get alcohol! Thinking quickly, I dashed to Krogers and asked them if it was too late.

After initially saying "no" they looked at the clocks on the computers and said I had 3 minutes.

The race was on! It looked like an outtake from "Supermarket Sweep" (beep beep!) as I darted in and out of the aisles looking for my precious liquor.

After procuring my alcohol and knowing I have it made, I spot the one obstacle that may leave me jumping the shark once and for all this fateful evening.

It's a man in his late 40's and he has.....

I simply MUST beat him to the checkout lane so I throw a quick block pass on him at the end of the diaper section and give him a look back to make sure he doesnt try to T-Bone me in the next corner.

Thankfully, I hold my line and make it to the checkout with a full minute to spare!
