AOL sucks.

Yahoo is good and has nice stuff...but it messes up sometimes.

As far as getting spam...I dont buy it.

I have had my Yahoo e-mail for months and get MAYBE 2 or 3 spams a month.

Well...I will add that AOL does have a few good features that Yahoo would be wise in copying, but in the battle of ass kicking...AOL is the one with only 1 leg.

yahoo has never spammed me.
it does send monthly account emails...
as does any service.

most of my spam comes from things i've messed
with online... and occasionaly morons that wanna
use my addy in my profile to sign me up for
BS porn.....

Sometimes, the name used for the address makes one more, or less, likely to recieve junk.
Most of the time I use hotmail, on one address, I get about 30-50 spams a day. On another, I get more spam from hotmail services than anyone else.

aol sucks.

i have a hotmail addy specifically for spam...
that is, when i wanna sign up for something that
requires an addy to register.

my hotmail inbox exceeds its limit every week...
(i'm not lying)

Looks like that could get you in trouble in certain cases.

I have done the same thing. and i now don't even check my mail on hotmail. i just let the poor souls send their emails. what they don't know is that they will never be read by me or anyone else.

after making my last post, i went and checked
my hotmail. i, of course, have once again exceeded
the alotted amount of storage and all new emails
were not being accepted (big deal).
however, i DID discover that hotmail had created
a new feature... and one i think even you can
appreciate, gravy...

under the options for your junk mail folder,
you can click the option that ONLY allows people
on your 'contact' list to effectively send email
to your hotmail account. since i have no one on
my hotmail contact list, NOTHING WILL EVER BE
PERMITTED TO RESIDE WITHIN THE CONFINES OF MY
HOTMAIL ACCOUNT AGAIN!!!! with the exception of
various gay spam that manages to seep through.

You can also block internet servers. I will never recieve any email from AOL. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
