i still remember the time HB encountered
the THE arrival... i was lurking on WOL then
as i do now... and i remember seeing the
SURGE of THE posters at almost any given
time of the day.

although i do not think THE will ever have
the same impact as it did when they first
came to HB, its nice to know that despite
their consistant prompts to change forum
servers... HB is always the one they return
to...

hit a year ago... tons of people on that forum...
that spread out all over HB wrecking havoc and
all sorts of whatnot... in short -- CHAOS!

i feel so sheltered. i have been registered on HB for a pretty long time and yet i never really ventured far, so i have NO comprehension of the THE effect and until TG posted that link to the AW board, i don't think i would have ever thought to venture there (AW or to any of the other wildcard communities). but now, am full ready to see rebirth of THE and consequent effects!
