Yep. The place is called Joplin, MO. I haven't met a female who lived there who wasn't sexually assaulted at least once while there.

How do you lose 33,000 people?
Do you wake up one morning and say, hey, somehow we just "misplaced" a small town?
that is horrible.

I've been to Joplin before, great town. Never had a problem with it. Spent a lot of time at either the mall or the basketball gyms there.
When i said that about a town. I was meaning that "losing" 30,000 people is the equivalent of losing a small town. not that all 30,000 people lived in that same town.

right, i think we understood, gravy.
but i agree with you... and prolly everyone else
here thinkin it...
ain't NO WAY those people are just 'invisible'...
if government agencies can discover as much as
they can about the 9-11 attacks (here in america)
as fast as they did...
ain't no way they 'lost' 30k+ sexual offenders
...unless....
sexual offence isn't as bad as we are expected to believe

I don't think it's right that sex offenders should be made to report to an agency each year to register their details so that when they move into suburbia, the other suburbanites should be informed.
if they've been let out of prison/wherever, then they should be allowed to integrate into society as any other prison releasee would. otherwise, why release them at all?

Indeed. Other criminals do not have to report where they are going after they get out. Only those whose crimes can be somehow related to sex. Dumb dumb dumb.
