ok I had to download it just to KNOW. Well now I know. Shatzy was right. It does blow. Not only for structure but lyrics, thoughts and melody. I mean the guy sounds like he is going somewhere and then you wait and wait and wait and it doesn't It sounds like one of those gong show or amature night songs ... You know where the guy had enough skill to get noticed only to be laffed off the stage.

Okay,26 seconds gone, sounds like your basic run-of-the-mill song about love&hurt. And then he goes on about how she might need him, and how she can come, i have to concur with cya and shatzy, it's.. arrogant.
intermezzo now, music is also the basic composition for this kind of song, so nothing new or exciting there. Still, not badly done, just nothing special.
Also, one thing i noticed is the 'simple' things he uses, cola, the mule in mexico, trying to construct a sense of.. realism in the song, which he shouldn't do, it brings the song down to earth, which isn't something you should do with this genre of songs.
But being a critic is easy, i doubt i'll ever get a song together [img]redface.gif[/img] , so there's some points for the effort.
And for some reason it reminds me of a song, not sure what it is, so i'm gonna try and remember.

In that case: i don't like country. And it's more one of those... standard love-song type thingie than it is country, in my ears.
