Years ago I saw a story on Dateline (or one of those type shows) about Krispy Kreme and it had me drooling. They look so damn good, and I'm not even that much of a doughnut fan.
A friend of mine moved Bakersfield, California a few years ago and when he came back he had incredible things to say about KK doughnuts. He said there were huge lines every morning for people waiting on them to open.
Ever since that day I have dreamed of the day when a Krispy Kreme Ddoughnut would open down here. Well, that chance is finally about to come true as one is in the works for Little Rock, Arkansas!!! I cant remember where it's gonna be at though...maybe it's in North Little Rock.
Anyway, I've always known that a KK would do well here because if you look around our city, we've got a lot of fatasses.

HOW HAVE YOU GUYS NOT HAD A KRISPY KREME DONUT? THEY ARE THE WORLD'S BEST, AS MUCH TRAVELING AS YOU HAVE DONE, YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD AT LEAST ONE....
i remember last year when chris and I went to kansas city, we bought 3 dozen plain donuts between the two of us to bring back. we got sick on the dozen we ate on the way back home.
but seriously, they are the best in the world...hands down....and they stay fresh for hours on end. the year before at kansas city, we got some before the football game, and while the game was going on, we left a few in the car, as we got to many for breakfast and couldn't eat them all. on the way home, i remembered i had left them in the bag on the floor board, and sure enough about 6 hours later after baking in the truck all day....they were just as tasty as that morning...
they are great.

In Mississippi a few years ago I had some "Krispy Kreme" doughnuts at a gas station....but they didnt look like the ones on the site. I think they are just regular doughnuts and they pay KK to use their logo.
Also, I'm sure you've seen the local schools and other organizations doing KK doughnuts for fundraisers....I had some of those, but again, I dont think they are the real thing either.
I just want some real damn doughnuts!

those are all the real thing...they just aren't as fresh as "straight off the belt" that you get when you go the store
