my aunty has one in her spear room... the more you tapped it the brighter it goes... i loved playing with it before i went to bed and i love being a simple - tin [img]tongue.gif[/img]

yeah but what is so farking cool is...
you alter the brightness of the light... even
though the bulb itself is the usual wattage
of any other bulb....
its all due to your body.... pretty badass

Cool link!
Did you know that also if you tap the touch lamp with an aluminum can with liqued in it the lamp will work?

OMG I so remember my grandma had one... I used to sit on her bed and just touch that lamp a million times to watch it go off and on...then I would see how fast I could do it..blink blink blink blink blink.. then she would yell at me to quit playing with the lamp and I would do it about 20 more times and then run giggling... It made me so happy!!!!
