i have no problem with you. in fact, i think that if you want to question (what it was you questioned), that is fine.
secondly, i wasn't being hysterical.

i have always thought that communicating online was difficult because of the lack of tonal quality and body language.
i will not nor am i attempting to defend anything or anyone...well, other than the fact that i can type one thing and someone else may read it another.
i think we can all agree to that.
you wanting clarification to what someone wrote is indeed just, in my opinion.

i have always appreciated your posts because i do not read them as threatening. perhaps it is because i (as i mentioned before) cannot judge your context or your mood.

if we were to look at the quote, i am sure that we can all think of ten different ways that quote could have been said. the same applies to all posts.
i simply do not hear your posts as being condecending so i do not respond as such. if you or anyone else sees what i write as being that way, i cannot control that.

if you want to ask, so be it.
i do not see your posts as destructive, in accordance to the forum rules, so you are fine.

besides, sometimes i like to see your opinions. they help me understand you (and others) in what you are trying to say.

My only hope and desire, however forlorn, is that Devil's Advocate learns that it is a matter of character and intellectual propriety is that one offers some actual substance to one's "critiques".

Sadly, I am skeptical as whether it will be forthcoming.
