it would be nice to believe such conviction from you, ek3...but we all know damned well that you deliberately view porn from your pc. get real.

aside from that, there is nothing REAL about the pic. it is a conglomeration of tiny bits that come together to form an image in your mind. after all, you aren't seeing a real image of characters, either...in fact, you aren't really seeing ANYTHING real. (some would even argue that THAT is not real, either...heh heh heh)

ahem...
but enough of philosophy. after all, who the hell wants to talk about that?!?!?!?!? mad

so lets just sit around here and bitch about the pic.

what if i were to tell you that the image you are seeing is in fact a painting?
would it matter then?
hardly.

the point i think someone else was making was the fact that IF this were a painting (or a photo, or a fucking paper mache)--
you would get out of it what you saw into it.

i know (well, i certainly hope) that you...and countless others that attend this board do not seriously abandon it for some cockamainy assumtion.

i am glad that damned picture is there.
since we certainly can't ask for credentials to post on this board...
perhaps this is a damn fine way to weed out the suckers.

You argue that its art, but an equally valid argument could be made that it is in fact porn. Whether or not ek3 views adult content on his computer is his business and unless you have viewed it with him (which I doubt) then I do not think you should make assumptions on his behalf.

It seems as though this picture was put up soley to gain a reaction from those of us who opposed the other porn shot.

What exactly is wrong with just posting the picture of the hamster?

I am personally outraged. you claim that this is art. however, i would like to know where you found this particular picture. i am going to make an assumption that the url went something like "www.sexandtitties.com" just an assumption. in honor of ek3's memory i will uphold his previous post claiming "Ok...since naked women are ok...I shall start posting my own "art" on this board. Stay Tuned." Due to the fact that the moderators of this board have run him off, i will begin posting my idea of art. not today, but soon i will begin. i hope you will take this forwarning seriously. i enjoy nudity just as much as you Shatoushka, but i feel there is a time and place for everything. and i hate to inform you, but the philosophy board is neither the time nor the place.
