What do you think *simple opinion question*

Since I never seem to come up with anything philosophical, and feel ever so dumb when I try I figured that tonight I would ask a question, just to get peoples thoughts on something.
Is life more difficult that it seems? or is life simple as pie?
and if you ask me "what is life" I'm gonna sink my boat.

Life is a journey, and if you look at it 9 times out of ten we make it difficult. So in that idea if life is as "simple as pie" we make it that way as well. anybody agree disagree? I'd love to hear different ideas on this.

Good call Ski, Just what I was looking for. So your saying life is what you make of it? and that everything is determined by what you make of it? Fate or destiny play's no role? Or perhaps the object of "chance"? *giggles cuz he remembers all the talk about chance*

good question but difficult to answer. i don't want you to sink your boat but i am hung up on the question 'what is life?'

assuming it is more than mere existence, life is a complex matter. i recall a U2 song that sums it for me in a way:
"some days are better than others"

for me life is both more difficult than it should be and easy as pie, depending on times and circumstances and stuff like that.

on the one hand when i allow circumstances to dictate my thoughts, feelings and actions life is difficult because i am on guard, defending and responding rather than asserting. on the other hand my assertions and actions (even non-actions!) are part of the circumstances that affect the experience of others.

what a tangled mess life can be...

Fate and destiny do have roles in life as does chance, however You still have choises to make that can change outcomes and other things, was it fate that made you pick that path? maybe, maybe not.
