Actually, I think the better word is "stoic". Man, what a great word... Almost as good as "spartan"...
Incidentally, I don't watch "Politically Incorrect" because I don't think that the opinions of celebrities are more important than the opinions of the average Joe... Why the hell should I care what P-diddy thinks about... anything?

Sean Combs [insert current AKA here] is by no means worthly of anyones time. That said, PI does consistently have people with interesting opinions that they're capable of discussing. Often he'll have people who are spokespeople for various organizations. In the event that said pawn is just a talking head they will often get their ass handed to them by either the host or another guest.
But it's still on too late.

The word Stoic is reserved for those who jumped.

Right assessm ent, wrong arena....for instance, when actors go to speak in front of congress....that usually makes one wonder...why?
But on Maher's show, the mulitiplicity of guests means if the topic has gone on to a point they don't get, they can keep quiet...the other guests and Maher will keep it going...
....and even if one guest is a ditz, it just magnifies the quality of the other guests that much more.....three good tires and a flat....nothing wrong with that.

My guess is, the future of the reality based TV saga is going to be shorter lived than originally planned. Why the hell would I want to watch a bunch of couples on a deserted island screwing each other? First, I thought it was rediculous before last Tuesday - now it's just plain offensive.

politically incorrect is a great show because it does encourage people to THINK. Most news commentators and the like just try to put opinions in your mouth...and although i disagree with almost everything bill says, i really respect his ability to provoke thought.
if you like to watch bill, then another show you might want to check out is the o'reilly factor on fox news (weeknights at 7 central time)..it is an hour show and he is also a crusader for truth in terms of news and commentary. he is neither a democrat or republican, and provokes thought just as well, if not better than bill. cheack it out and let me know what you think!

It seems that, for Tastingood, there are two types of people: the gay (who don't find fucking to be the most stimulating thing on earth) and the straight (who apparently enjoy porn movies while jerking-off).

wow! this topic sure has developed.
[quote[Forcing a President to reveal damaging and humiliating information under oath THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS OVERALL JOB PERFORMANCE....was more an act of treason by his opposition than an undermining of lying under oath....
If Clinton hadn't been forced to answer questions that had no relevance to his job performance (and Monica refused to file charges, another point that gets overlooked), Clinton would not have had to lie.[/quote]
alex--i thought i was the only person on earth who thought that. sheesh! where were you a few years ago when i was arguing that fact.
i am glad you see/saw (bwaaaaaaa!! i carack myself up) that.
paddy,
great observation. it will take some time for me to get this out of my head.

I felt so strongly against the Clinton Impeachment I PAID to put a few "ADVITORIALS" in my local newspaper to help ensure that my words would not be cut down to fit the space available...(all the views that's fit to print)...and to take the editor off the hook who had a somewhat opposing view.
The larger area newspaper would not even consider allowing me to pay my way....(and I probably could not have afforded it)
