I've been turned onto this board by my buddy Hannible and I've come to realize that you guys are pretty interesting. So now, I'm posing a question to you.
Do you exist?
This is a simple question, but I'm hoping to get some answers on it. Also, when you answer, give me your reasons for your statement.
Thank you.

Yes, ewe exist. Why else would all those lonely shepards now face the additional charge of being pedophiles?

you mean exist as : exist as sentient beings
or as in : exist in your perception

I mean exist as a person - as someone separate from someone else, as an indivual with a soul and all that bullshit - with a brain that is your own and not controlled by chemicals and senses reacting with them. Are you a person.. a soul.... , a mind.. anything - what are you? are you just a combination of particles, atoms, molecules.. blah blah... - what are you? if you're a soul, if you have something that is not a physical attribute... then... you exist - as I see it. if not - ... then you don't. so - the question again is, do you exist? in those respects, answer. I don't have the answer to this one... I wanna' get some real thoughts here.... (haha - what good do they do if they're just chemical reactions from particles in my brain - but oh well!)
Sapius - I didn't follow your C & E the first time but maybe I'll go back.

If an elephant falls on you or a rock falls on you, the effect should be the same, you're crushed, even though the elephant was alive and the rock wasn't.
Waht i mean is, why would the thoughts of a 'soul' would have more meaning than thoughts that originate in a good old biological computer called the brain?

Welcome, and yes, we Exist.
Irrelevant of who perceives and what one perceives, and how unreliable perception can be according to all the philosophers put together, the fact that a perceiver exists, and all that is perceived exists, nullifies the mental exercise we went through to reach an understanding of what existence really is.
If what we perceive as "Red", could be anything but "Red", does not really matter, or change the fact that we perceive something which is different that another, and we name it as "red", because we have a Nature given complex enough mind, which has the capability of verbal thoughts, and is able to reflect on its own EXISTANCE and all that EXISTS.
Looking back through Cause and Effect does not nullify the fact that all causes and effects are Real, only that there is basically no Reality in individuality of anything that EXISTS.
This is the best I can do concisely.

I'm sorry I do not follow. First of all, what is there to "preach", it is actually all around us, just that "seeing we see not". And what do you mean by 'Tangent' here? the more you hear about C&E, are you tempeted to understand it or go away from it? what do you mean by 'wanna trade'?
I would apreciate some explanations.
