I simply must know
why in the world,
I cut the finger
on which you twirled.
My heart sank so fast,
As ever you did fall,
These eyes watched you tumble,
As you gave it your all.
Your gone from my body,
But not yet my soul,
To touch those lips again,
Would make myself whole.
Whole on the outside,
Empty within,
To kiss your tainted lips,
To lie in my sin.

As miserable as life may be I hold it pretty precious...
If I lose the light of the sun, I will write by candlelight, moonlight, no light. If I lose paper and ink, I wil write in blood on forgotten walls. I will write always, I will capture nights all over the world and bring them to you.

Here is a little tip to help you with that pesky "ie" spelling problem. "I" before "E" except after "c".

ek3--
why don't you just kick the cane out from a blind man just to show you're a spoiled brat?
(hanny--don't worry, in a few weeks, ek3 will be copy/pasting your poem and using it as his own.)

Your poem can be interpreted a few ways....
Reminds me of a woman fondly remembering her pregnancy!

or even a Christian trying to seperate himself from the God he's grown up to believe is true and try to convince himself scientology is the answer.

Freedom is his, and his alone, and we are doomed forever to watch forlornly, tugging at his hem, and sucking the spittle he leaves as he passes.

ek3, how did you get that special smiley face into your post?

I used to rock and roll all night and party every day. Then it was
every other day. Now I'm lucky if I can find half an hour a week in
which to get funky.
