Haven't you ever heard of "Finding God on death's door"? It seems like a logical extension that if someone doesn't believe in God, they might be more apt to go out in a big way.

I'm not following your point. People who don't believe in a God may not care what happens to the planet and it's inhabitants as they age.

However, I also pointed out that at least one religion believes that if one suicide bombs that one gets rewarded in heaven.

Somehow, even though I tried to point out pro's and cons, you seem to think I was taking only one position.

Christianity? I was taking the taliban.

The point being I refuted my own premise by showing that if people believe being violent on earth can lead to rewards in heaven, then the idea that non-believers would do more harm to the planet than believers has to be exorcised.
