I feel like making a pun about being 'bored' about a 'board'.
But i'll refrain, i actually have a nice thing to talk about which i'll post when i can put it in words.

If God exists, then we probably don't have the capacity to understand how we fit into the overall scheme of everything.
If God exists, would God be annoyed that we expect more than our time on earth?

how does the previous negate the latter???
We could use a pet analogy.
Your pet is thrilled to have you around. You provide food, shelter, compassion...quite a package. They may think of you as God, but you know better.
We may be the pet when it comes to evaluating who we are in relation to God.

what could that say of the free will debate?
Religions don't tolerate the existence of other religions and therefore have an endemic fatal flaw they can't seem to overcome, tolerance of things different from themselves.
On the other hand, non-believers may be more likely to act more selfishly as they get older, and that could be a fatal flaw far worse than any religion.
As for the free will debate, I don't feel like discussing that right now.
my question wasn't prompted to rehash free will
rhetoric.... but to get you to support your own
statement. if you feel that it is possible we are
like that of pets to a god, then how does free
will interact with that?
