it's about two children, lets say 12, who sit in front of the TV having a deeply philosophical discussion.
i just thought it would be hilarious to see two kids talking about existentialism and eternal return and everything else with a straight face.
what do you think?

good call!
it would be funny!
of course, whats interesting about that
idea is exactly how funny would it be,
and to whom?
the possibilities are endless!!

ok. waking life--> i really wanted to but none of my friends wanted to see it with me and i'm not a person that goes to the movies by myself. no one wanted to see undergrad. psuedo intellectual, quasi philosophical bullshit (in so many words).
my script. it's not going to pretend this is a normal thing, that happens everyday. it's going to be laugh at the situation as a whole and i guess would be self reflexive (where the film knows it is being filmed, get it?)
think kenneth branaugh's iago in othello.

for some reason, i get this image of two
kids involved in the situation and thinking
the philo. but speaking kid language.
tee hee
your idea is badass.
p.s.-- kenneth branaugh was MADE for shakespeare.
(is that a form of type-casting??)
screw it. he was.
that man is great.

i'm still not sure as to either have them thinking in 'highly abstract thought' and speak in normal kid speak or having them speak the lingo whilst not really knowing what they're saying. maybe the kidspeak is more effective.
ps. <H1>
KENNETH BRANAUGH IS THE MAN!!

Would the kids be having a philosophical discussion about the world around them? or about the world thru their eyes as kids? and there interpretation of such discussions?
though it would be hard to write a script based on kids thoughts about deep philosophical views.
