Crawling

I came down..
I placed myself up on the cross,
and it was raised.

They came, and watched... seeing me..
calling me christ!
it tempts me,
drags me, brings me down,
like some sweet gravity,
And i'm not allowed to hang.
My blood before me begs me to stand,
and lay in the air.
and I raise myself day after day,
to the heavens where they can touch my wounds.
and they will,
licking and rubbing,
watching them peirce me with their eyes,
and their touch,
beneath this storm,
under these tears.. the walls came down.
and I hang..
Crawling away,
Broken down and screaming.
