It would require the varying parties have a discourse among each others. We'll call that, talking to each other and sharing each others dreams, literally.
Now in the case of pets, sometimes pets make sounds while they sleep, I hear dogs can have nightmares.
Do Dogs have happy dreams as well?

i suppose i was being a bit more abstract with
my response. no matter the form of communique,
its all subjective, indirect association... and
certainly not direct experience...
therefore, i ask again:
can anyone answer that Q?

I wonder if maybe talking about dreams can be a great mending wall for families. It's a chance for families to recall dreams they have had, knowing that even if the dream is silly, all can laugh at it without the person telling the story feeling hurt.
Otherwise, many families are on pins and needles when they are around each other. Yet I never hear that families share some of their dreams with each other.

foucault was right.... it is the season for
the confessional.
alex... its not prudent to suggest such a thing
or even to hint that sharing personal transitions
in sleep is a good thing.
where is the privacy?

This is rather odd.
You place no value on religion, but you appear to "fastidiously" (aka religiously) believe that dreams
are sacrosant.
SOME dreams may fit that category, but all dreams?
What about zany, funny, or nonsensical dreams?

So the question may not have an answer for it is based upon the subjective but it can still be discussed. Are we only ever to discuss questions which have the possibility of an answer?
My children often tell me what they have dreamt and I likewise tell them, maybes not all my dreams but certainly the amusing ones(the privacy is in the choice of selection). What does it really matter that it is not based on 'direct experience'? Are we only allowed to share with each other that which we have actually experienced ?
