It was a classic Television moment. Heater McCartney, (Paul McCartney's wife) took off her artificial leg and handed to Larry King.
Larry King fell in love with that leg.
It was to the point where you wondered if Larry would ever give the leg back to Heather! It's rumored that when they cut to a commercial break, the television crew had to pry the leg away from Larry King and give it back to Heather.
There were seconds, several of them, perhaps as much as a minute, where you kept waiting for Larry to Give Heather back her fake leg. Instead, Larry was practically ignoring Heather, not listening to her. Larry was too busy to notice Heather because he was marveling at the look, the feel, the texture of Heather's fake leg.
I wonder if Larry was reminiscing about all the money he has given his six (I think it's that many) x-wives, money that he could have saved if he just had a full human body version of the leg made instead.
Larry got away with one, cuz I don't think anyone has teased him about his love of Heather's fake leg.

i saw a bit of that.
i don't think he was in love with it, if anything i thought he looked uncomfortable. then he asked that godawful question "and this didn't turn paul off?"
and she answered in an even godawfuller "no, not at all! all my other boyfriends have asked me to marry them after a week"
*ahem* excuse me while i go and stroke my ego.

Yes, you remember the line about marriage proposals after a week, that was a classic moment.
It's interesting that you thought Larry was uncomfortable. His eyes lit up and he fondled the darn thing, started cutting off Heather, talking over her, and we never saw him give the leg back.
