Because people are always arguing about it, trying to "prove" that their belifs are right. How can someone prove that their theory is right?
Besides when you think about how the creationists (Is that how it is spelled?) say there is no big bang, it is somewhat silly.

Think about it. There is nothing. Then God says "let there be light!" and there was light. I think that would be a REALLY BIG BANG to anyone who had never seen light before! How do you feel when someone turns the light on when you are sleeping at night? The light hits you in the face and Bang! your fist hits their face. (thats what happens in my house, I don't know about yours though.)

Like almost every controversial topic, there shouldn't be any controversy because anyone smart enough to find some valid "proof" should be smart enough to know that it will not really prove anything.

Sorry, I seem as though I am about to start not making any more sense, I think I should go to bed.
