Since our own soldiers are being targeted by Suicide bombers, why not set up high pressure water guns at check point locations.

If a suspicious person approaches a checkpoint, blast them with water. If it's a case of mistaken identity, they may just appreciate the blast of water on a hot dry day, if they were actually a suicide bomber, the chances are greater that the bomb won't go off.

Plus, it keeps the bomber at a farther distance, so if they start fiddling with a part of their clothing in an effort to try and detonate the bomb, then you blast with real gunfire.

I'm serious.

in war, soldiers are effectively/potentially laying their lives for their country/cause. i see suicide bombing as no different.
