George Bush Jr. needs to step down after this term and wait until 2008 before he runs for President again.

I remember the tremendous hyperbole that many Republicans cast towards Al Gore during the vote recount in Florida.

The most ironic one was the mass agreement that if Al Gore stoically conceded the race, he might end up being the favorite in 2004.

Well, it looks like Al Gore has stoically stepped down, AGAIN! And once again, The Republicans have proved they never know when to let up.

What an incredible gesture it would be if George Bush Jr. stepped down from the 2004 election and let Gore fight it out with a different Republican Candidate.

It could set-up a very interesting re-election contest for 2008. Afterall, if George Bush didn't seek re-election now, he would easlily gain in stature in the same manner that Al Gore gained.

The problem appears to be that ever since Watergate, the Republicans don't know how to lose.

If it ain't The Republcans breaking in to Democratice National Headquarters, it's the Republicans fuming that Bill Clinton (one of the dubiously dubbed "seven dwarfs) won TWICE, and their evil witchhunt against him... to now, once again salivating that their president will probably be re-elected.

To hear Republicans tell it, this democracy can't surive a democratic president.

Indeed.
