Rom 4-7

Interesting how the NASB, supposed to be a very accurate translation, puts Rom 4:25.

"He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised again because of our justification."

Here many Bibles (e.g. NIV, KJV) say "for our justification" instead of "because of our justification". The resurrection was "for our justification" in the sense that it provided an important object of saving faith. But rendered in the latter, more definite, sense, the phrase perhaps brings the verse into parallel with Isa. 53:11-12 & Phil. 2:8-9. These verses show that Christ was rewarded because of his completed work on the cross, (and this included our justification).
