Placenta Accreta

Has anyone been diagnosed with Placenta Accreta. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant with my fifth child. My doctor advised me to terminate because of all my c-section scars. I am a high risk for Placenta Accreta. He claims I will die at delivery.

I was having weekly ultrasounds (for other reasons) and my placenta accreta wasn't detected even with all of those ultrasounds. I was told they can sometimes do an internal ultrasound to detect accreta - I guess they do this for people that are at a higher risk because of previous c sections or placenta previa but that will only tell you "yes, you have placenta accreta". I haven't heard of a way to reverse, or fix accreta - only to prepare for the operation for the hystectomy so that it isn't an emergency.
You do not want to go through what I and others like me have gone through if you can avoid it.
It is truly horrible.
