They are playing with the Rolling Stones in Europe.
I wish I lived in NYC so I could see them tour with my favorite metal band Bullet For My Valentine.

I saw the Rolling Stones news the other day. Kind of weird that they're "opening" for another band (something I don't think Axl has done since those Stones shows in '89), but I guess everyone makes an exception for the Rolling Stones (U2 and Metallica recently opened for them also).
I tried getting tix to the first NYC show (May 12), but all four shows sold out in 3 minutes flat. I really hope Axl doesn't fuck this up this time. Touring AGAIN w/o an album to support is only going to bring along the same awful consequences of the ill-fated 2002 tour, which played to half empty arenas and was cancelled midway through.
If Axl doesn't release Chinese Democracy by the end of this year, I honestly don't believe it's every coming out.

And I assume that's a ticket broker, correct?
The shows sold out in a few minutes...obviously you can still get tickets, just like you can for any show that is sold out (through a scalper, a broker, ebay, etc.).

God, I missed having a GNR thread!

It is similar to ticketmaster. Does it matter where you get it as long as it is a GNR ticket? No, I don't think so! Also found tickets through Ticketmaster-Canada!
