This is for the officers of G.N.H.S. to discuss things for meetings as well as for members to stay updated on the activities of the group and to suggest things.

Just as a reminder, there is a G.N.H.S. meeting coming up on Thursday, the 14th, before and after school. Notes on what was discussed will follow.

The 18th is Back to School Night. We need people to function as tour guides. This counts as one of our service projects for the year. Anyone in G.N.H.S. is welcome to be a guide or to stand around and help direct people that seem like they've misplaced themselves.

Also, the fundraiser candy will be coming in at some point (the 29th, I believe). All those available to help sort will be appreciated.

Notes from the morning meeting on Thursday, Sept. 14th.

1. We will be needing volunteers to assemble a display case like the one our exchange partners had when we were at their school.

2. Chocolate is coming, but we're probably going to be ordering less than last year. 100 boxes is a bit too much to deal with.

3. Shirt ideas are coming in. The popular seeming one is that we have our own "soccer" jerseys. This will be useful in spring when we have the foreign language department soccer tournament.

4. We need people to help assemble our homecoming float. More details on that are to follow.

The chocolate sale seems to have gone rather well. We have run out of boxes and most people seem to have sold most or all of their chocolate. The total amount of money that G.N.H.S./German Club made (as opposed to what individuals earned for the next exchange) is still pending.
