My Favorite book would have to be Holes. Holes would have to be my favorite book because it was a suspense book/action book as well as a somewhat comedy. Also since it was bout a group of boys being good friends it reminded me about the group of friends i have. I think you can tell that my favorite genre is suspense with action. I enjoy reading books i choose but i hate reading a boring school book that we have to read.

    1. My favorite book is "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck. Even though, it has been a very long time since I read it, I truly enjoyed this book because the characters were unique. The story line was very interesting and I have remembered this book since it was so captivating.
    2. My favorite genres are thrillers and Sci-fi. I enjoy these genres because I also enjoy movies with the same genres. I don't have anything to associate it but I find them interesting.
    3. I prefer to do other things such as sports or playing guitar rather than reading. I find that reading is cool if the book is fun to read.

My favorite book is Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. I've read it about 3 times and it is still engaging and exciting. Its about a comet that hits the earth and ends the world, (kind of, some people survive and have to rebiuld civilization). I like it because of many things. For one, one of the main characters is an amature astronomer, and I am too. For another, unlike many other end of the world books, this book takes you from the first discovery of the comet, the panic that ensues, the massive destruction caused by when it hit, and the uncertanties that follow.
Its a Sci-Fi book but I don't particularly that Genre. Mostly I like military History books.

My favorite book would have to be Caddy for Life because it tells the story of a young kid who grows up to be a sucessful man in what he does. It also shows the struggles and hardships 2 players go through when on the PGA tour. I would have to say my favorite genre for a book would be suspense. I like these types of books because of how they keep you on your feet throughout the book. Finally I really don't care for reading. The reason for this is because I would rather see and hear something then read about it and not get the visual and audio aspect.

well, i have a lot of favorite books. i guess that one of my favorite books would be the Alex Rider series, especially the last one, Scorpia. i really love how the author manages to add in events that happen in the beginning of the story that really help to create a very complicated plot during the end of the story. not to mention that the ending of the book was....sad.

i like fantasy and thrillers because they always have the ability to capture my attention and really interest my imagination.

    1) What was your favorite book you?ve ever read and why? 2) Do you have a particular genre you enjoy, like sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, mysteries, police procedurals, horror, suspense, romance, drama, memoirs, etc.? Why does this genre appeal to you? Is there a certain memory or experience that you associate with it? 3) If you don?t like to read, tell us why. Was there a bad experience in a class or have you just never found a book you like?

My favorite book is "The Broker" by John Grisham because it always kept me on the edge of my seat and I always wanted to read more of it.

    2) Do you have a particular genre you enjoy, like sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, mysteries, police procedurals, horror, suspense, romance, drama, memoirs, etc.? Why does this genre appeal to you? Is there a certain memory or experience that you associate with it?

I like suspense books because I never want to put them down when I'm reading them. There aren't really any memories I have to associate with it.

    3) If you don?t like to read, tell us why. Was there a bad experience in a class or have you just never found a book you like?
If i'm interested in the book i'm reading I like to read it, but if the book is boring i don't like to read.
