Thumbs up

One tropical storm heading tword texas and another heading tword the gulf.

NATIONAL HURICANE CENTER

Plus hawaii just got some nasty weather from one on the other coast.

'Tis the season to batten down the hatches, and then some.

No, it isn't the same as a Cat 4 hurricane, Greg. Tropical storms are a part of life when one lives on any coast. Ask Trav. Or his sons.

Just like thunderstorms are a part of life in the midwest. (It might rain tonight, so run to Kroger. Cancel all plans and get bread, milk and eggs.)

This "EVERYBODY PANIC" crap is out of hand. We all become inured to it, and then the warnings do no good.

Please vote for me as Queen of the Universe. I will cancel all weather reports.

It was more of an FYI gae, not a panic warning or anything like that.

Just noting that there were some storms a brewin down south.

I understand that, Greg. I was just yanking your chain a bit.

We share the same feelings about the "white death" that nearly blankets our lives every winter in Cincinnati

I feel bad for the people where it does make landfall. But I am relieved I am not in the path of it. It has kicked up a much needed breeze here though. Last couple of weeks it has been very unusual in that it was hazy, hot, humid. Usually no matter how hot it is we still have a nice breeze and clear skies. Today it is 99* according to the thermometer on my car, but breezy and clear.
No complaints. I'll still take this heat for a few months over your winters!
Now I'm off to cut grass. Hope all of you are well.
