what kind of knot do you use to tie the burlap to the netting...overhand, larks-head..etc?

If you think ahead, you can use a very easy knot (but the pieces of string will need to be 2 times longer then normally):
-You take the string.
-Hold it in the middle and make a loop.
-Twist the loop over 1 string of the net (so that it's an 180 degrees turn).
-Take the 2 ends of the string end pull them through the loop.
-Just pull the ends and you will have a knot that can resist a lot (only untied when pulled correctly(pull the loop to untie)).
