Anyone have any thoughts on how this will all play out.

I don't know that we can do too much about it. Our troops are tied up. I don't think we would have gone in anyway, but we do have resources tied up.

Neither China nor South Korea want the refugee situation that would occur if we bombed. This puts a stumbling block in our way. China holds a lot of our money and debt. Most of our manufacturing base now resides there. We really don't want to get in a scuffle with China. South Korea is our ally. I'm pretty sure they don't want rock that boat right now.

On the other hand China doesn't want Japan or even Taiwan to get nuclear ambitions. So they are putting the brakes on North Korea for the moment.

My best guess is one of two things. One we do nothing for all extents and purposes. Two we step back and let China deal with North Korea in exchange we let them do as they will with Taiwan.
