Anyone think he will run in 08? I think he has his toes in the water. It will be interesting to see if the other Democrats will be willing to sully his reputation to advance their own cause.
He is really charismatic. He came to speak at a rally here and I went. People were lined up around the block. They had to close the site. (It wasn't huge.) But people were sitting at overflow sites to watch him on a big screen tv. People were standing on the window ledges outside the building to get a glimpse of him. That kind of reaction doesn't come along all the time. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out once people take their gloves off.

It's tough to say. He was on Oprah recently, and I only caught 10 minutes of that - so mad!! I really liked what little I saw and would love to see him run, but I think it may be a bit too early for him. His name is definitely out there.

Hi kids
I don't know much about him, but I do know he's affiliated with moveon.org as I got an email from him last week Anyone associated with moveon.org gets my vote (If i were allowed to vote)

As much as it pains me to say it, I'd rather see him run than Hillary. I read the excerpt from his book in last week's Time and really liked it.
He hasn't had to make any real tough choices yet, though, it seems to me.

The Dems need a charismatic leader for sure and he may be it, but I kind of think that he's too new/young. (Which may be a good thing actually)
To be honest, I think that Al Gore has so many good ideas and is such a principled person. And, he's already won once before.
I will be so upset if Hilary gets the nomination. I honestly don't think that she can win. She too divisive and too hated. (I wish Bill could run again though)

Maureen, i agree with you totally. I just don't think Hilary would win, and it would be almost a waste of an election.

I ordered his book. It should be here soon. I am very impressed with what I've seen of him so far. I think his lack of experience is a plus. He hasn't had time to become jilted and corrupt yet.

I love him. He is the first politician since Clinton that makes me feel hopeful for the future.
I hope he runs in '08.

I got his book, and I'm on chapter 3. Has anyone else read it? It's very good. He had my presidential vote after the first chapter.
