Hello all. My father in law has asked me to sell his sister's Chambers range for him. It is located in Corpus Christi, TX. and apparently is a yellow 1940's model with all of the accessories. He has sent me pictures and a stove assessment from antiquestoves.com.

Any suggestions? Ebay a good place? Anyone here interested? Thank you!!

It all comes down to location, price and condition, in that order. If it's close by and the price is right, we can usually fix the condition. If you can, post the pictures and you might find somone interested from here. I know there are many people that are looking for these stoves and they find reference to this site on Ebay. Corpus is fairly difficult to get to from any other state, so that may limit your audience. Try not to pin your hopes on the amount of the appraisal. Most of us have found our stoves for anywhere from free to less than $500, unless they were fully restored.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the information. I'll do that. I think my father in law thinks they are going to be able to get the amount of the value, which was $1600 to $1800!

Thanks for your response, I'll try to answer.

It has three separate "pots" that go with it, one shallow and two deep. One of the deep ones is actually 2 1/2 moon pieces. It looks to be in really good condition. The "assessment" was "very good". It is 1940's and from the information I've gathered here I believe it is a "B" model. I'm sorry, I don't know anything about safety features but my father in law did say that everything works except one light bulb. From the pics the porcelain looks to be in excellent condition, but the chrome looks like it needs to be cleaned. I'll try to post pics. Thanks again for your help.
