    Hi All,

I am new to this message board. I just stumbled across it tonight while researching Chambers. I decided to join so I could ask some questions. I am new to Chambers stoves as well. I have been aware of them for some time, but have never seen one in person......only pictures. Anyway, today I came across an ad for one. I called and inquired about it and I am supposed to go to see it tomorrow or Saturday. They are asking $450 for it. The owner told me it was given to him by his cousin before Hurricane Katrina....and it was working at that time. He's (current owner) never used it because his house is all electric. He's had it stored in his warehouse. He said it seems to have all the parts and it is in good condition. My question is this.....is $450 a good price? Would it be an insult if I made an offer and started low at $300?
